Rotorua Day Tours
Rotorua is a unique area of New Zealand with so many things to see and experience. It is one of the Must See areas of New Zealand. Located in the heart of the North Island of New Zealand, it is known for its geothermal activity featuring geysers, mud pools, and hot springs, giving the city its recognisable scent of sulphur. Affectionately known by locals as Rotovegas, Rotorua is a vibrant and exciting city to explore and has been a favourite spa tourist town since the 1800’s.
Day Tours can include Te Puia, Whakarewarewa living Maori Village, Redwoods Forest Tree Canopy Walks, Hamurana Springs, Te Wairoa (Buried Village), Waimangu Volcanic Valley or Wai-o-tapu Thermal Wonderland, or Orakei Korako Geothermal Park and Cave. Explore Rotorua’s 16 lakes and waterways including the Green and Blue Lakes and Lake Tarawera. Have fun at the world famous Agrodome.
Night Tours include a Maori Cultural Experience of food and entertainment such as Mitai Village, Te Puia or Tamaki Maori Village or dinner in the Skyline Restaurant overlooking Rotorua followed by a night time Redwoods Canopy Tree walk amongst hologram and fairy lights flooded ferns, or a relaxing swim in local Geothermal Hot Pools.
Day Tours can include other destinations easily accessible from Rotorua such as Hobbiton (Middle Earth), Waitomo Caves, Lake Taupo or Mt Maunganui.
