Wairakei Terraces Mineral Hot Pools and Thermal Valley Walk. These adult-only pools are in a lovely bush setting and include three large pools and a hot water waterfall. The walk includes recreated thermal terraces, a gushing geyser and a recreated Maori village.

Wai-O-Tapu (Sacred Waters) Thermal area. Geothermal features including the multi-coloured Champagne Pool, bubbling mud pool and stunning mineral terraces.
